Speculation: As in the finished film it would appear that Jyn and Cassian ditch their Imperial disguises in the data vault, but in an alternative version could they then leave via the vault door? This would then explain the shots from Official Teaser Trailer and Rogue One Official Trailer “Trust” of Jyn and Cassian running through the Imperial facility in their rebel clothes, along with K-2SO.
